Definitions
Filmmaker - A catch-all term for any legal entity concerned with making a film: Producers, production companies, independent film-makers, casting directors etc.
Provider - A catch-all term for any legal entity who can do or otherwise provide something that will help a Filmmaker make a film: Writers, story-boarders, actors, camera operators, lighting technicians, musicians, sound technicians, editors, people/businesses with equipment for hire, with locations, trained animals etc. - basically everyone in the whole world who isn't actually a Filmmaker.

Filmmakers' requests show up in the live feed anonymously so they need not be concerned about being pestered by overenthusiastic Providers who are not suitable (it happens). Furthermore, Providers will only be able to communicate with (and view the profile of) Filmmakers that have an open communication thread with them. Filmmakers can close this thread at any time.
Provider profiles can be viewed by any Filmmaker member who is logged-in to the system but not by other Providers.
No profiles or profile contents on the system, whether Filmmaker or Provider are available publicly.
E-mail notifications of new requests are sent to Providers automatically by the system: Providers can reduce the number of notifications they receive by reducing the number of categories they are subscribed to (Profile tab - click on "Categories" underneath profile picture) or they can turn them off altogether (Acount tab - "Change preferences")
Spam posts, should they occur, will be deleted by the webmaster who will also warn or delete the offender.
