Manual language selection
You can set a language manually by clicking on one of the flags.
The URL will reflect the setting as follows:
http://filmeverything.com/?lang=XYZ
... where XYZ is the language code used by FilmEverything.com
Obviously, you can choose the language by editing the URL directly but if the language code is not recognized by the system it will revert to the default system language.
Note that, regardless of the language on the landing page, the system will load in your default language (as set in you profile) when you log in.
Automatic language selection
If a language is not specified in the URL when you first arrive at FilmEverything.com, the system will attempt to guess an appropriate language based on the country code matched to your IP address.
When it's working, the [?] at the end of the line that says "Learn more: Get started" will appear in yellow but if the lookup process takes more than 4 seconds it will be abandoned and the [?] will be displayed in red
The country code lookup is performed by www.hostip.info and you are invited to help them update their database if your location is identified inaccurately.
The choice of language based on the country code is done by the FilmEverything.com servers so you must contact us if you believe this choice to be incorrect.
Where we have not set a language code the default system language will be used.
